Sweet Parable

Just going to scratch the surface here.
Hadn't initially planned on blogging this, but after tonight's additional revelation about the weed and the flower, I knew I should! :D

Proverbs 28:26, He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
I came across this scripture one evening as I was reviewing the Book of Proverbs [Wisdom!] :D. The revelation that I received from this scripture, is this: homosexuality.

Read that scripture again, each part.
  • "He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool:" (trusting emotions and feelings is foolish)
  • "but whoso walketh wisely," (choosing right from wrong)
  • "he shall be delivered." (set free, delivered, BROUGHT OUT)
Amen. Glory to God.

Now, the parable is this:

A homosexual is as a weed imitating a flower.
Trying to blend in with that which is good.
Whose roots must be plucked from the ground.
From its depths.

Uprooted.

Dying, then being replanted on good ground; assuming a better foundation.
Reborn into whom God created it to be: in His image.
Only when the weed has died, will it begin to grow, and blossom.
Only then will it be delivered, set free.
Rain shall come, floods of blessings. God's covenant with his holy peoples...

This would make a really great teaching lesson.
I give you permission to take freely of it. Thank you Holy Spirit!!
And, thanks mom who has always cautioned me about WEEDS (in the natural ;)

Best!,

'Persecuted, But Not Forsaken'

Not going into too much detail, as all of this occurred at my place of work yesterday and earlier on today. But, I will share my tweets. Hold down your CTRL key while clicking the picture beneath. It will open in a new window [tweets read from bottom-up]. THAT is what I've been dealing with.

I thank God for resilience that He has generously blessed me with, because I bounce back soooo easily, it's great!! \o/ And, because of my high resilience, I cannot get comfortable, not now.

There is a vision that I must fulfill
and I'm gonna get there!!

An encouraging Word from Elder Craige was in my inbox today when I came home, that related directly to my situation, bold and italics = my personal emphasis, praise God:

The EX Daily Word for May 5, 2010
'Persecuted, But Not Forsaken'

1 Peter 4:19 - 'So if you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right, and trust yourself to the God who made you, for he will never fail you.'

1 Peter 4:19 KJV 'Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.'

Many times we feel that the work we do for the Kingdom of God goes unnoticed. But God is always watching and he rewards justly. When we work for him, we reap a harvest from him and he will reward us now and in the afterlife. But some times God desires more from us and so he will allow the very people we are blessing to persecute us unjustly. Why?

When we get comfortable and satisfied with our place in the Kingdom, God will allow trials to come to move us along because he wants us to do more for him.

We cannot just sit on the Gospel, but we must spread it! There are people on your job, in your family, or in your neighborhood that need to hear the truth of God's goodness and if we remain comfortable with our own place in the Kingdom, then we will lose focus and forget about helping others.

Many times, it seems right when you really get where you should be in Christ, all hell breaks loose and things go haywire! And then, just when you fight to get sin out of your life, give offerings faithfully, and walk right before God, another trial jumps up to test you.

Why is this?

Jesus said that God cuts the vine that bears fruit, so it can bear more fruit and that hurts us. (John 15:2) But the freshly cut vine bears bigger and better fruit! And it positions us to do bigger and better things for him.

How did God get the Gospel to the whole world? He caused the Christians to be persecuted where they were living comfortably and they all ran away to save their lives. They thought people were just trying to kill them off, but God was using it to get the Gospel spread around the world.

So, yes, pain is allowed in the Kingdom for gain. God does not allow growth of ministry without hurt and misery!

God is working on something big in you when unexplained persecution comes.

So, suffer through it and grow in his grace, but never forget that when you are persecuted undeservingly, God is positioning you for bigger and better things!

Journaling.

I cannot stress how important journaling is to every believer. It is more essential than blogging, and tweeting. It is a piece of your cornerstone in Christ. A handbook that accompanies you throughout your journey in Christ. A handbook that is second-nature to your Bible.

Just the other evening I lie on my back with my five journals cupped between my hands, held high. A smile came over me. A pleasantry filled my body. I was ecstatic. In my hands, I hold my testimonies, my conversations with God, our time spent together-- His encouragement, His teachings! Everything pertaining to our time together spent these past four years! Revelation, inspiration; it was all there.

Four years, four full journals!
Glory to GOD alone!

(today I took these photos)

(that orange one on the top is my brand new one! i like it
sooo much! hardback and bound; sooo nice! target $7).

(that's the orange one on top again. i LOVE the binding!!)

God has been reminding me how important it is to re-read your older journals, starting with the first, and reading them in the order they were written; kind of like a multi-volume work. New and existing revelations are to be had. Reminders are within those pages; wonderful things await you.

If you have yet to begin journaling your time spent with God (journaliing = hand-written), including recorded scriptures He's led you to, including instructions for "the vision" and so forth,

Get GOING!

From yesterday,
(a stepping-stone reminder): "Start building your foundation early! Things can begin anew with YOU!," WDJ

Habakkuk 2:2-3
2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Glory to God, saints!!!

As I share this with you, someone came to join me...

Sincerely,
Whitney
