Status Update #2

Snippets

  • I just finished up my "Working Willingly" tasks today. I love accountability, it's such a beautiful concept-- a concept that could have only been designed by our Lord. Glory to God.
  • I've been working diligently on the brand new Mystery Shopping Blog. Be sure to join us: http://mysteryshoppersuniteblog.blogspot.com. If you're not a mystery shopper and want to be one, you can learn how to become one.
  • I plan on going biking today. The weather-man said it's supposed to be 60 degrees. I feel like a nap, but a quick ride around the neighborhood will be refreshing! I cannot wait for spring & summer!! ;)
  • I meant to tell you that I have since given up Coca-Colas. I used to love those things, but not anymore. Also, ALL caffeine and cafinated beverages (coffee, tea) I've quit. Just caffeine-free and decaf or nothing :)
  • Bible study is at 7:30 tonight. This is the first time I'm going to try and go to Bible Study at this church. It's 30 minutes to and from, so it seems like a chore. But, I know it'll be worth the drive.

Leisurely To-Do List (ABC Order):

  • Buy a rocking chair for my room (man, I have been looking for a good rocking chair since summer time of last year! I checked Roses, Cracker Barrel, and even a furniture shop in the country... *sigh!* I need my perfect rocking chair! :(]
  • Sign up for a library card
  • Watch G. Craige Lewis videos again

Breakfast

Made some omelets today-- my favorite breakfast food! I'm a breakfast food junky. It's my absolute favorite meal of the day. I have labeled this post as "cooking" because baking deals with you know, treats and sweet-stuff :) Enjoy.

I also made some chicken fajitas yesterday that I ate for dinner and I'm eating for lunch right now! lol. Good stuff; I didn't take pictures of those.

Couponing at Wal-Mart

I had a wonderful time at Wal-Mart yesterday!!

Reminiscing

I was just thinking today how much I miss college life. Well, not all of it. Particularly, the jobs that I held on campus. I used to work as copy editor of the campus paper and at the radio station. WZMB 91.3 FM Greenville. Now, THAT was a fun job! *big smiles* The only bad part about it was the fact that I had to wake up at 9 a.m. and head to the radio station. I got to play whatever I wanted on the air-- so fun. I played nothing but Gospel & Christian music the third day I was on the job... Tye Tribbet, the Clark Sisters, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers-- these were some of the amazing artists that I played on air. I'm smiling now, hehe.

I remember that switchboard, the mic and the headphones... Man, what a fun job. Who wouldn't want to sit on their behind all day, taking listener-requests, chatting on air and listening to music all day?? This was fun for me while in school, but I honestly couldn't have it as a 9-5 job. I feel like I would get bored and have to quit or something... LOL. But, really. Music is my life, GOSPEL music that is-- ONLY Kingdom music. It's all I've listened to since I began living for Christ. I love it. Since I'm reminiscing here, check out a pic I took of myself in the DJ Booth a few months ago... hehe.

Later,

My Testimony - "Psalms of Thanksgiving"

2 Samuel 22

1And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

2And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

3The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

4I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

5When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;

6The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;

7In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

8Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

9There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

10He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.

11And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

13Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

14The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

15And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

16And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

17He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;

18He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

19They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

20He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

21The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

22For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

23For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.

24I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.

25Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.

26With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.

27With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

28And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.

29For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

30For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

31As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

34He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.

35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

39And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.

40For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.

41Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

42They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

43Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.

44Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.

45Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.

46Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.

47The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

48It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me.

49And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

50Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

51He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

Glory, glory, Hallelujah, thank You Jesus.

Love,

"Barriers of Discipleship"

Church service was good today. I truly enjoyed myself. I visited my childhood church with my older sister. I'm technically still a "member" of the church because I joined when I was younger, but since then I've moved on and ventured out to find my "new church home," if I might say.

Anywho, the message was amazing. I'm not used to Pastor Davis preaching such a convicting message-- or maybe he always does, I was just too young to pick up on it. The message was "Barriers of Discipleship." He began by defining the word "barriers," stating that barriers in our lives are "structures that hinder action." Pastor was saying that the Lord requires us to not only know the benefits of discipleship, but the barriers as well. This keeps us accountable.

The scripture that he gave was from Matthew 28, you know... the great commission, where Jesus tells us to go and teach all nations. The word "teach" is translated to "make disciples of." Jesus tells us to go and make disciples of the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit-- or, baptizing "in the name of Jesus Christ."

The scriptures he used to teach the message came from Luke 9:23, 57 and John 15. He stated that the first barrier is when we do not deny ourselves for Christ's sake... when it's our [fleshly] will waring against the Lord's [holy] will. Pastor Davis said this is a barrier in the lives of God's people. He also said that you cannot make disciples until you become a disciple-- or, you cannot bring anyone to Christ until you are a devout and sincere follower of Christ yourself. That was really good to me.

Another thing he mentioned was, if you take the word "self" and reverse it, adding an "h," you get the word "flesh." That really blessed my spirit. It's true. Our will is self-flesh; not self-less, it's selfish and the Lord's will requires sacrifice and surrendering ourselves and our own will. We must give it all up for Christ Jesus.

The second barrier (the first was "not denying self") was "If you don't sacrifice, you won't be able to serve." Meaning, if we don't sacrifice our will and our way, we as disciples of Christ will not be able to serve others and edify the Kingdom of God because God says in scripture that we cannot serve two masters-- it's either self or God, Christ Jesus. Particularly, Pastor was talking about the church ("church" in a general sense) not paying tithes. How can you trust God to bless you if you won't bless His sanctuary? It was kinda like that... I've never paid tithes in my life. I always thought "the ADULTS" pay tithes and I was OK. LOL, I'm a nerd. But, Lord willing I will trust God to provide for me as I give Him my 10th.

In John 15, Pastor was stating how Jesus is the True Vine and how a branch cannot bear fruit of itself; apart from God we can do nothing. One of my favorite quotes from the sermon was "Your vision comes with a provision that He has for you." That quote reminds me of what God says about establishing our thoughts and granting us the desires of our hearts... God knows what we desire and if it's pure, holy and in line with His precious will, He will give it to us. After all, He tells His children that anything we ask in His name, He will give to us (according to His will). God will make the provision. He will take care of us. That's why it's so important to surrender all and trust God to do the rest. Pastor said, "Whatever God designs, He can build!" --Now that's the beauty of the Lord. Glory to God.

I pray that the Lord tears down the barriers in your life that is holding you back from becoming a true disciple of Him. Pray my strength as I pray yours. Let's pay our tithes and trust the Lord to take care of us. We must bless the men and women of God. The ones that have been called have been commissioned (we're all commissioned according to Matthew 28) to do a great work and they are trusting the Lord to provide for them, so we must also give our 10th [10 percent of your income to the church] and trust that God will take care of us. It's a partnership--me and God, you and God-- we're all in this thing together, so let's do it right.

Words/Phrases to search for in your Bibles:

"die daily."
"crucify flesh."
"mammon."

God bless,
Mark 1:14-15.

Matthew 6:30-34 Testimony

Matthew 6:30-34 says
  • 30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
  • 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
  • 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
  • 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  • 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Like one week ago I experienced a Matthew 6:30-39 testimony. It was great. As I was getting ready for the day, I asked the LORD what I should wear. He clothed me in a cute turquoise dress, but He also put me in my favorite pair of jeans. It was pretty cool. I was wearing a dress with some jeans--I loved it. It was cute, yet modest.

Here is the picture of the outfit:

(It's a cow-neck dress).

On this same day I felt really pretty after having put on the clothes He picked out for me. Like, really pretty. So, that was fun. We also did my make-up. I use Mary Kay Creme-to-Powder Foundation and I had been worrying about running out and not being able to afford it, so the Holy Spirit comforted me about it. Here is what I learned:

To make the most of your Mary Kay Creme-to-Powder Foundation, use a warm-water-moistened Q-Tip to scrape the edges of the make-up container. There is A LOT of make-up stuck in the corners. It may not look like much, but it is once you use a Q-Tip to get it out. Then rub the foundation from the warm-watered Q-Tip on the base and begin applying your make-up as usual with a wedge!! This really helped me. God is good. Because of this new technique, I probably will not purchase more foundation for at least a few weeks! ;)

Hope this helps and God bless,
Mark 1:14-15.

Mark R Cleminson's Personal Testimony recorded by 3ABN TV. Mark Cleminson was delivered from a life that involved White Lodge Freemasonry, Transcendental Meditation, Metaphysics, Esoteric Knowledge, Occult practices, the New Age Movement and Telekinesis. He was protected by God when the order was given that his life should be taken by human and supernatural forces. This is a Powerful Testimony. Please watch and share....

"...at a very young age... through transcendental meditation [yoga], i was able to tap powers that would allow me to do things... clairvoyance, moving objects, and even the idea of being able to look outside of my body... and eventually being able to levitate as well. so these were [satan's] gifts that i thought were given to me by tapping this power from a source-- at that time, didn't realize where it was coming from, but, later when i came to the Lord..."

P.S.
I personally know some people who have denounced their secret societies so please contact me (message, post, etc) if you would ever like to speak with them personally and hear their testimony of how God brought them out! (Ex-AKA, Ex-Omegas and an Ex-Kappa).

"God Has Done Great Things"

Psalm 135

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.

2Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.

3Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

4For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

5For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

6Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

7He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

8Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

9Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

10Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

11Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

12And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

13Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

14For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

16They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

19Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

20Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

21Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

Blasphemy

2/6/09 - 11:59 a.m. That movie where the guy is on a Newscaster set and He is speaking what looks like Gibberish? That's blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and the Lord said that it is unpardonable. It's a REALLY popular movie. It's the movie where Ace Ventura/Jim Carey, what's-his-name is in the background/live studio room and THE GUY ON THE TELEPROMPTER IS BLASPHEMING THE HOLY GHOST. That is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus our God says that it is an unpardonable sin.

I don't believe the Lord is allowing me to recollect the name of that movie, but you know which one I'm talking about. If you have this foolishness in your house, you need to do some house cleaning. Your Father is not happy about it.

Telepathy is also of the Devil. If you practice this junk, you are involved in some serious Occult happenings and the Lord says you need to get out. This is also blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

2/6/09 - 2:37 p.m. I used to have a book posted on my page called The Law of Success in 16 Lessons (Volumes 1 & 2) by Napoleon Hill. Since purchasing it in November, I had read up to the second page of Lesson Two. THIS BOOK IS NOT SOUND DOCTRINE. The Holy Spirit spoke to me yesterday evening and said that this Book teaches a Counterfeit Oneness with God through the use of Telepathy. It instructs you on how to devulge into the Occult World. Don't do it. Don't do it please. God is Holy. Please do not defile your temple with this spiritual wickedness. Lord Jesus guide Your people. We love you Lord Christ and without you we will lose our way. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN. This is my Prayer and THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!

2/6/09 - 4:26 p.m. There is a Book, however, that will bless your soul and that is the Book written by the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This Book of writings is not Taboo. God says that people have been saying that about the Book of Revelation for years and it's the most disgusting lie He has ever heard. The third verse in the Book of Revelation (KING JAMES BIBLE), Jesus Christ precisely precisely states "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." The words of this prophecy that the Lord is referring to is the entire Book of Revelation, but not just one scripture, verse or rhyme. The entire 22-chapter Book.

God says in the last few scriptures of the Book of Revelation:

He wants me to tell you that I was going to share with you scriptures 19-20, but He wants you to read the entire Book of Revelation. He also changed the scripture to include verses 17 and 18 as well. Thus Saith the Lord:

(Read Revelation 22:17-21 in your Bibles at home. The devil has recently disabled all of the Bible resources on my computer that I use. He's an idiot).

God is cleaning HIS house and the Body of Christ better get ready.

Sad World.

[Hardly any formatting tonight, and little editing. I need a nap. Lord willing, I will add the scriptures when I return].

Racism and racial profiling are still prevalent.
I didn't think it was so bad, until

I experienced it today--not for the first time, but for the worst-time. No, really. Full-force racial profiling/stereotyping tonight at Harris Teeter in Morrisville, NC. McCrimmon Corners to be precise. Steer clear. Run, far...

Hurt my heart... I bawled the entire ride home; hyperventilated for the first time and even developed a slight stutter while trying to tell my parents about it. They half-way cared... Jesus, Jesus I need You. Only God.

I prefer not to blog about sad stuff like this, you know "real-life" issues or get into too many details because it's soooo saddening... like deeply saddening to me. You'll know what I mean by this when you read the post called "He That Overcometh" and by reading the Bible scripture that mentions to guard your heart with all deligence because out of it flows the issues of life. So, I'm gonna stick to God's Word on that.

Ya know, I was a ball of tears in that "He That Overcometh" post as well--just to think on these things makes you mournfully-sad, as if someone just died. It's that serious. [God forbid that anyone dies]. But, it makes you angry all at once too, not just sad. On the other hand, I can definitely see today's happenings at Harris Teeter as my feelings of compassion toward others being developed more. So, for that I am grateful.

Thank God if you've never been treated like the scum of the earth. Thank Him now and strive to treat others the way you would want them to treat your mother or someone you deeply care for. ...God tells us/teaches us in His Word that that is what we're supposed to do anyway. Afterall, "What Would Jesus Do?" Exactly.

And with that, I'm closing.
Taking a break.
Need to spend time with God.
Organize my priorities.
Sit back and reflect.

I'm longing for the return of Jesus, when He will judge this corrupt nation with sound doctrine... I asked the Lord to forgive her... the customer service lady; and I truly meant it. That's all I can do now--can't turn back time, can't re-do it. Can't ask for it to be erased... it's already been done. But, I will choose not to remember it. YUP. Ask me about it sometime (please don't) down the line--and I won't be able to tell you anything.

Do you know that we have the power to do that? We have the power to meditate on peaceful thoughts and not to meditate on corrupt thoughts; and vise versa. The difference is that God wants us to meditate on the GOOD things. Now, don't mis-quote what I'm saying. I'm saying that we are to reflect on "the good," yet acknowledge the bad. Does that make sense? Meaning, don't ignore it. BUT DON'T dwell on it either!, that's the key. Ask God to help you with this if this is your prayer.

You can acknowledge it by telling somebody so that others can grow and learn from it. Don't harbor testimonies and keep others from learning of God. Lord Jesus forgive me too if I am guilty of this. Even now as I'm writing this, I feel like I've already forgiven her... [Makes me think of that scripture/song "The peace that passes all, all your understanding]." Thank You Jesus for the peace of mind.

Interestingly enough, I had an unction in my spirit a few days ago to post a scripture that I wrote about in my offline journal previously, but I didn't. God's working on me with that. He is.

Here it is:

I John 2:28 says "And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."

Comforting.
Very comforting.

I need a nap.
A long one.
A two-day one or longer.

So, goodnight everyone.

God bless & the devil is a Liar,
Whitney

I strongly encourage you to read the post "He That Overcometh" and following that one,
"The End of the World, What Does the Bible Say?" And after that post, see what else God has for you: Romans 10.

Glory to God.

Status Update #1

Hi everyone :) I hope everyone is doing well. This is the first “Status Update.” I’ll use these whenever I haven’t blogged in a little while, to catch you up with all that has been going on.

Thank You, Lord

I feel like I’ve been MIA (Missing in Action) from howdeeplyineedyou—time apart from this blog I cannot bear... :-\ yeah, dramatic I know, but...I do love this blog. I really do see it as a ministry tool for sharing the gospel of Christ through the things He shows me, speaks to me and teaches me; it's like a Testimony. This entire blog is a Testimony of the beautiful sovereignty of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ--in every way. So I graciously thank God for choosing me to undertake such a delightful, yet precious responsibility. He’s awesome and worthy of all of the praise.

God Speaks

It’s been wonderful lately around my way. I hope things are well with you. God has been speaking so abundantly too. I just love it; it makes me smile from ear to ear. Yesterday evening my dear mother and I had an overwhelmingly great conversation that lasted hours—I didn’t even track the time, but I know we were still chatting by the time 11 p.m. rolled around. We talked about “the deep things of God” [see I Corinthians 2:9-12]. She shared some testimonies with me that she hadn’t before, like the one with the baby and mama bird who nestled in a tree directly outside of her window pane. That testimony was truly reflective of the way in which God speaks to us—through the comfort of pleasantly peaceful and thoughtful moments.

I was chatting with a fellow blogger earlier this morning about this very thing. About how there was just such a great wealth of information disclosed from the Lord throughout the conversation I had with my mother. It was so strong that she and I literally sat and marveled at the Lord [see Revelation 15:3, John 17:24]. We marveled at God’s glory; glory that we as fleshly/human beings cannot behold with our natural eye—that’s how GREAT (as in “big”) God is! Yet, it is so amazing and purifying to just sit and think on the godly and holy things of the Lord [see Joshua 1:8]. I do this a lot, and I found out just yesterday while chatting with my mom that I’ve been calling it “daydreaming” (see labels on right-hand panel).

Anywho, after describing my thoughts on how abundant and rich the knowledge of God is with the fellow blogger, I searched biblegateway.com for a scripture that could describe the feeling of marveling at God's glory. God led me here:

Psalm 139:5-6 says

5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

...it really was a good night bonding with my mom. It was a Psalm 139:5-6 night!! ;)

Lately it seems as though we have been drawing nearer to one another... ever since the Lord saved me in 2006, it got difficult to maintain and reconcile my mom’s ways with my new Christ-centered lifestyle [see I Corinthians 15:33]. It’s a blessing--just knowing how God works in the lives of His people by planting common ground along their journeys path, in order [for Christ] to be a witness unto the both of them... what an amazing testimony of the Lord.

My Baby Girl-Cat

Her name is Bitty and she first debuted [ ;) ] in my previous post throughout a series of pictures. You can see them later by searching the labels.

Bitty usually visits me in the mornings if I have my door open—which is hardly ever—but yesterday morning I had my door open because I happened to be awake since I’ve been working from home lately, planning mystery shops and beginning a second blog. This is the most curiously explorative and intuitively-precious cat you’ll ever meet. Honestly. I wish you knew her as well as I do. She’s so adorable.

As I mentioned, on this particular morning (2/3/09) she came to visit me and she was so bubbly and delightful......... I know why! She’s a “Mama’s Cat,” if you know what I mean—she’s very fond of my mom and ya know the folks with a 9-5 job are gone throughout the day, so I’ve therefore convinced myself that she only came to visit me because her Mama Cat wasn’t home! Lol. She’s rarely this playful with me, so that had to be it ;) AND I filmed her little antics:

I love this baby cat.

This is about 0:55 seconds short... and kinda dim, lol.

I'll do better next time.

I must admit that she was quite annoyed with me
when I started filming her--can't you tell? She turned
her
back on me, hehe... so, I eventually cut the camera off ;)

Archived picture of my boo-boo lounging:

Look at those precious mis-matched spotted paws! ;)

God bless,

LORD, help.

Lord Jesus, grant me tolerance.
This is my prayer.

Irritated... it's so exhausting talking to people on a consistent basis with the same old revolving conversations. Parents... parents--unpredictable. Yeah I graduated a little under two months ago and yeah OK I don't have a "career" just yet. Please bear with me! I beg of you, please.

Where's the compassion?
The empathy??

Should you not be saying "Good job, Daughter?"
"Good job, Daughter, for finding part-time work until you land your dream-career." No accolades. None. My efforts are going unnoticed and my little-joys such as grabbing various part-time jobs that I love, have been ignored.

Jesus.
LORD, help.

Times like this, I wish I had a Christian mentor.

LORD, help.
Please.

...pray my strength.

Patience,

Mark 1:14-15.

After writing this I went to the Bible for encouragement. The verse of the day on biblegateway.com is I Corinthians 2:9.

I Corinthians 2:9-16 (KJV) says

9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

Lord, I love you.
Lord, I need you.
Thank You Jesus.
