Hi all, it's been seven months since our last blog theme. I need to ditch the fall/Christmas look for now, so here's what I'm going with...

I reeeaally love my past looks so I may stick with them. There's one for every season! :D In the meantime, here's a new one I may go with:

Yet, I'm reaally wanting one of the older looks from last year 2009:

So, we'll see which one I stick with.

שפת שמימי

So Benjamin, my bro in Christ who I just "met" on Twitter and who I've exchanged conversations with, particularly about God's Sabbath Day [nice young man, by the way], puts up a new blog post listed here. BE MINDFUL, I have NOT watched/nor seen the video on this page and frankly, refuse to. Do as you will at your own risk. I'd rather read a book than watch a video any day; so here is his exact post, word for word,

(please caution before reading):

Speaking in Tongues, Proven

"Uhh… proven? Well, at least it’s been “proven” to be a mindless activity (see 1 Cor 14:14 below). Apparently when people pray “in tongues” their frontal lobe is not active; whereas it is active when praying in sensible language. Now, I’d be a lot more interested in seeing a brain study with a bunch of non-pentecostals speaking in English as compared to the same people speaking in gibberish, and compare those results to the tongue-speakers. That would be a far more interesting study. In fact, who knows? Maybe they studied that, but the results would have meant that ABC wouldn’t had an interesting story."

"What does Scripture say about this? [then lists scriptures I Corinthians 14:1-27]
"So maybe all those people in this video who are huddled up speaking in tongues in church without seeking an interpretation should stop. In verse 28, Paul basically tells anyone speaking in a tongue in church without an interpreter to shut up."

Now, here's my reply to this blog post. I made sure to save it as a Word Document, because mis-clicks always happen, and really I don't think it even posted to the website when I replied because the page was blank after I submitted it; seems to always happen when something BIG needs to be said, so here I blog:

i'm almost afraid to watch the video you posted. thank God for Jesus-- FEAR NOT! and on that note, i'm not gonna watch it! hehe :D

i thank God for the Holy Ghost. God wouldn't give His precious and holy to thieves [see Matthew 7:6], so those who attempt to do a "scientific study" on something so marvellous, may as well fail before they even begin. and those who resent others in Christ within their heart, for having a spiritual and heavenly gift that they do not have, might want to find out why they haven't received the baptism of the Holy Ghost (evidence = speaking in tongues). God help us and forgive us if we have coveted and THANK YOU for what You have generously given us! Amen and amen.

God shared I Cor 14 with me a while back. it was a huge revelation. it was great! especially coming from The Message Translation. what a blessing! that entire section is one of only TWO bookmarked/tabbed sections in my Message Translation, primarily because i'm a KJV-er (haha, check the terminology, hehe!) and only peruse The Message Translation if i need further revelation or clarification not seen from/or overlooked reading KJV.

now, wonder if anyone has checked out I Corinthians 14:39-40 MSG (final thought on speaking in tongues and last verse in that chapter!)... here it is for you:

I Corinthians 14:39-40 MSG,

Three things, then, to sum this up: When you speak forth God's truth, speak your heart out. Don't tell people how they should or shouldn't pray when they're praying in tongues that you don't understand. Be courteous and considerate in everything.

see also, 1 Corinthians 12:25 KJV (which as observed, comes before I Cor. 14), That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

In Christ,

Exodus 13:21-22 KJV

I've had a great morning! I was able to awake at 8 a.m. from a sweet sleep. No stupid dreams, nothing crazy. Just, sweet sleep. My mornings are some of the best times on the day for me. Got up, blessed God with a 'good morning,' and headed downstairs to make some breakfast! Usually I'll grab some coffee immediately after waking, or some Special K, but this morning I wanted some stove-top food. My omelette was great! :D Now, today's thought:

Cheaper Than Therapy

Exodus 13:21-22
21And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

22He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

I've been looking at Exodus lately and came across these scriptures. It made me see God in another form; fully. I was in awe after I read verse 21. God became a cloud, a pillar of fire.

I'm not going to get too profound on you because it's all in the scripture! Hehe. This made me love God deeper. So amazing the scriptures that we never had any idea existed. GLORIOUS God \o/ \o/

I felt, I tweeted

I saw what was mine, what was MINE. And, I went after it.

It was mine because-- it was given to me, then stolen from under my foot-- like a rug snatched from beneath my feet.

I felt, I tweeted,

"If you see something good that may be for you, GO for it."
Realizing afterward, HEY-- this applies to something else I'm going through right now.

I applied it.

I went after it.

You were my happy ending.

Psalm 91:1 KJV

I had the desire to share this with you. The Holy Spirit comforted me through journaling on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 and I knew it was better not to hog it all for myself. So, God's best to you. And, stay up there! :D

Psalm 91:1
HE that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Scripture revelation,
That man, who stays in the presence of God-- that man whose God is his abode, THAT MAN, shall be beneath the wing of the LORD. That man shall be protected, cared for and taken care of by the God who loveth him so much, to bare his burdens. HE that dwelleth, lives IN, the secret place, hiding place, takes refuge in the most High [God], shall abide under, shall live and dwell under and beneath the shadow of the Almighty, the cover, the shelter of God.

Take care, saints.

Today was one of the best days [to be, and enjoy] outdoors. I was able to lounge in the sun with sweet lemonade iced tea, my iPod and a great book. WONDERFUL GOD! It was just what I needed. So perfect.

I even got to do some journaling.
