Photos

4.54 a.m.

Good morning. These photos are from June of last year when our family took a trip to Myrtle Beach. I remember waking up to this beautiful sunrise over the ocean. It was around 5am. It was so incredibly beautiful, I do not believe I will forget this day. I remember going on the balcony with a cup of coffee, my Bible, and my cell phone. I took pictures of the sunrise with my camera phone, the photos you are seeing now. I also sent tweets to Twitter regarding everything that was unfolding before my eyes.

5:47 a.m.

There were these two beams of sunlight shooting down from clouds covering the sun, it was almost miraculous it was so beautiful. You can barely see the two sun rays on this photo, but they are on the far left. Then the two sunbeams evolved into four. It was really special.

Christmas Snow Photos!

We got really nice snow on Christmas night, and this is what it looked like in the morning. Isn't it pretty? We stay in NC and although snow is not impossible, eight inches is rare!

This is one of my favorite trees in our yard. She is so beautiful year-round; her leaves when they change colors ... from green, to yellow, to red ... to snow! I love watching her, she is a great delight.

Exodus 13:21, A Thousand Words Thursday #11

The great things we find on Tumblr.
A glimpse of what Exodus 13:21 may have resembled,

Exodus 13:21

And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

Bless God for the image rendering capabilities used for Good. Our imagination exponentialized (yes, I just said "exponentialized.") Hehe.

Holiness and Snow-Capped Mountains

This photo made me think of "holiness." It's so lovely. Doesn't it look like holiness to you? ..If I had a vision of holiness, this would be it. The dainty and modest pink baby flowers in the fabric, the photo-locket which to me, represents the promises of God kept close. The single pearl. The gold eagle. The sweet key for the locket, and the pink flower emblem. Photo credit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hollythedolly/4598130487/

And, I'm in a winter-type of mood and switched my Summer bg over to this one, a snowy-ice capped mountain bg. This one kind of reminds me of the vision God gave me maybe one month ago. It was extravagant. High, snow-capped mountains, a very deep blue, with snow mounds just as high, clouds below, and me looking over! Three eagles were flying east, in a triangular shape, with one leading. It was extremely beautiful. I'll never forget that vision. It was so pleasant and hopeful. Great things in store. Yesterday evening I was listening to Amy Grant's, "Count your Blessings" and I began to say aloud, "I am thankful for My God and my salvation." Today I am adding to the list, "My integrity and God's holiness."

Bless You Jesus,

Jesus

Psalm 112:4
Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

John 1:5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Romans 2:19
And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 35:8
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

Journaling.

I cannot stress how important journaling is to every believer. It is more essential than blogging, and tweeting. It is a piece of your cornerstone in Christ. A handbook that accompanies you throughout your journey in Christ. A handbook that is second-nature to your Bible.

Just the other evening I lie on my back with my five journals cupped between my hands, held high. A smile came over me. A pleasantry filled my body. I was ecstatic. In my hands, I hold my testimonies, my conversations with God, our time spent together-- His encouragement, His teachings! Everything pertaining to our time together spent these past four years! Revelation, inspiration; it was all there.

Four years, four full journals!
Glory to GOD alone!

(today I took these photos)

(that orange one on the top is my brand new one! i like it
sooo much! hardback and bound; sooo nice! target $7).

(that's the orange one on top again. i LOVE the binding!!)

God has been reminding me how important it is to re-read your older journals, starting with the first, and reading them in the order they were written; kind of like a multi-volume work. New and existing revelations are to be had. Reminders are within those pages; wonderful things await you.

If you have yet to begin journaling your time spent with God (journaliing = hand-written), including recorded scriptures He's led you to, including instructions for "the vision" and so forth,

Get GOING!

From yesterday,
(a stepping-stone reminder): "Start building your foundation early! Things can begin anew with YOU!," WDJ

Habakkuk 2:2-3
2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Glory to God, saints!!!

As I share this with you, someone came to join me...

Sincerely,
Whitney

bask

Today was one of the best days [to be, and enjoy] outdoors. I was able to lounge in the sun with sweet lemonade iced tea, my iPod and a great book. WONDERFUL GOD! It was just what I needed. So perfect.

I even got to do some journaling.
