This is my prayer.
Irritated... it's so exhausting talking to people on a consistent basis with the same old revolving conversations. Parents... parents--unpredictable. Yeah I graduated a little under two months ago and yeah OK I don't have a "career" just yet. Please bear with me! I beg of you, please.
Where's the compassion?
The empathy??
Should you not be saying "Good job, Daughter?"
"Good job, Daughter, for finding part-time work until you land your dream-career." No accolades. None. My efforts are going unnoticed and my little-joys such as grabbing various part-time jobs that I love, have been ignored.
Jesus.
LORD, help.
Times like this, I wish I had a Christian mentor.
LORD, help.
Please.
...pray my strength.
Patience,
Mark 1:14-15.

After writing this I went to the Bible for encouragement. The verse of the day on biblegateway.com is I Corinthians 2:9.
I Corinthians 2:9-16 (KJV) says
9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
Lord, I love you.
Lord, I need you.
Thank You Jesus.
Mark 1:14-15.
Sometimes everything is not clear, but the Lord gives knowledge. Thank God.

Have a good time.
Yes He does give knowledge. That is what is so wonderful about the Lord. My mom and I were talking this evening (2/3/09) and WOW-- let me tell you, there was such a wealth of knowledge disclosed from the Lord. Our God is Amazing... it really was a good night, a Psalm 139:5-6 night!! :)
ReplyDeletePsalm 139:5-6 says
5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Glory to God and God bless you Justinas. I'll be sure to look into this translating site--I tried before but Google makes it sooo difficult, hehe ;)
